I suspect BTC is still #1 and will remain so because it's been a government program from the start, it is the governments plan B for when the dollar starts collapsing. ETH is great but won't have the backing that BTC has even if you argue about the tech. Those 1 million missing coins will turn up in the governments hands once the dollar starts to go bye bye, theyll be like "oh btw we found Satoshis wallet"

Have you seen anyone still using tube TVs? Tube TVs are like Bitcoin, low signal strength, consumes more power, shitty quality, it was the most used and manufactured (around 1.5 billion) appliance, yet it was easily killed by LCD TV during the turn of 20th century. I'm a Bitcoin maximalist too anon, I first started using Bitcoin since 2011, but I'm not deluded.

I'm not an expert in the tech, but can't upgrades by implemented to the network to scale it and such? I don't know that it even matters, you'll probably see a future where BTC isn't sent back and forth for simple transactions like coffee and burgers, youll probably have a banking service like we have now that move BTC around on a screen and between bank accounts rather than neck beards being their own banks and possessing their own. It keeps them in control and is a lot easier than trying to scale the entire BTC network to replace the banking system as we know it.

Most likely a team, funded by high level finance guys. I think the fact that Satoshi crowd sourced programmers to build it initially was just a clever distraction. It was probably 99% already built, and Satoshi used the forums to have people "finish" all the easy parts. Like letting your kid hammer a couple nails while you're building a house.
