I would like to discuss different business model based on gaming platforms.
I know Steam, Ubisoft launcher, Epic launcher so far. Those are based on bit companies.
Do you see big advantages, which might come with new gaming platforms based on crypto/blockchain?
In Ultra i see some potential right now but maybe you know some more

Don't know if they will pull it off but this is 10x gem that will take off when they launch their platform this month.

Main advantage might be ownership of your own data. You can for example own items, rings, swords etc. saved on the blockchain and the smartcontract only gives out a specific amount of items. So no cheating possible. Of course it counts for games but you could connect the games to the UOS blockchain.

Difference is: You can buy UOS token which are also tradable. Steam you can just use. So...

Will tradeable assets replace shitcoins? Imagine chasing pumps of rare swords...

Needs time but has potential if implemented correctly. Worth a gamble but I hate its on shitfinex

Bitmax soon.

That would be awesome lol. Also they could allow to trade games. So you say you sell limited 1000 games and people can just trade with them.
Every KYCed account can buy one game etc.
Thats funny as shit :D

Fucking bitfinex man. If you're US based and using a vpn, and decide to trade with UOS/USD (because that's where all the volume is, not UOS/BTC) then they flag your account and ask for kyc because of the USD trade. Now I'm fucking stressed that I can't get my funds out.

Ultra do have some potential thats for sure, we'll first have to wait untill they release the open beta to see how they execute everything tho.
But as for now, I'm positive about this project

UOS will rock it

Predicting $0.50 on UOS eoy
So many reasons to name, but I’d suggest you to do your own research

>> No.15803668

With ultra you will have a pretty solid team combined with legit Block producer and a business model that can achieve great value of the project. In my eyes its better than steam because steam is the only one getting monetary profit of that one.

>> No.15803710

Ultra is gonna be huge with the amount of people learning game dev.

Have you ever thought what Steam requires and how much they take..?

I more think that Okex or Huobi will be listing them soon.
UOS team will announce some more blockproducer and guess who it will be.

>> No.15803774

>>15803720
Huobi isn’t going through I heard, they ask way too much for listing and MM. what is confirmed are Bitmax and OKEx

>> No.15803794

I like the ULTRA Team , but we need more exposure and also said in this thread they might list on some other exchanges. If you want to trade on bitfinex you need to sell your usdt/eth or whatever to USD and then buy UOS. It's 1 step to much :D

Steam is oldskool, we need decentralization. Here is were Ultra comes in.
