Dr. The main difference with vidt validation is the built in KYC. I don’t know how IBM and QNT do it but to do the same thing as vidt they need a KYC layer, which some company may create and utilise together with the validation service. I don’t think that has happened yet, vidt is the only place that offers the complete package.

VIDT is in talks with IBM to integrate sensors all around Netherlands and use VIDT to validate weather data, what's stopping this just being a proof of concept and integrating world wide?

IBM also has KYC, of course. They're targeting government, healthcare, and finance. If you look into it, IBM will even create blockchain solutions for businesses. You tell them what you want and they will specifically tailor it for you. They have over 3000 (or 5000?) developers around the world specializing in blockchain technology. They do not need WIDIDI's V-ID software...
