2021 pajeets. earliest... that's assuming no additional delays.
>too little
>too late
stop shitting up this board with endless threads with your consensys-paid-for pajeet tier "when ETH 10k?" threads. it is fucking stupid. every day, same thread with same responses. if that's your plan to stop ETH bleedout you faggots might as well fire a couple hundred more ConsenSys employees

the point is phase 0 is NOT ETH 2.0 you deflecting dumbass. consensys shills are parroting ETH 2.0 in January day after day like it is the second coming of christ. you know it, everyone knows it, and because your bags are heavy you deflect from that fact rather than engage sith it. phase 0 is a fraction of the future product ETH 2.0 which is not here until 2021 earliest. as to realistic deadlines... we will see. most likely too little too late, way to fucking late

This is why Harmony will make you obsolete. It will be ready to go within months and probably sooner. RSR, Link, tether will all port over and fuck eth holders quickly

The meaningful network effect eth established was the EVM, NOT the blockchain itself.

Staking and ETH 2.0 will make or break it. Validator adoption rate will be slow on the beacon chain because of the hurdles to stake (outside of joining a pool), just like mining was in the early days of Bitcoin itself. Once issues are ironed out I think real, working Proof of Stake (unlike Peercoin) can be demonstrated here, which is key. If that is successful and ETH moves towards fully stake instead of work (already in the multiyear roadmap), that will be revolutionary, and ETH's market cap may well be equal or near BTC's. We're talking about eliminating one of the last bastions of crypto-critics' complaints: muh environmental footprint

To little to late for waht?
Every real competitor is years behind or just full of shit and scammy+eth got death grasp on over 90% develoeprs in space.
You know same shit was told 2013-2015 2016-2018 right? "mmuh sit xxx is gona take eths amrket share, eos is next eth, trx is next eth and so on....

"muh xxx shit si gona pass by it!"

Turns out only price swings are fast in this clown space development is still same as any ambitious peace of software engineering slow as fuck kek

to offer bring scale to the platform. to bring a decent dev experience and capable programming language to the platform. 2021 is way too fucking late, and 2022 / 2023... just imagine 2022 arrives and we're still waiting for a finished ETH 2.0.

Honestly it's high risk, but if it does pull through in Phase 1 towards the end of 2020 / early 2021 it will be amazing. Stealth phase, smart money is making sure to at least get the 32 ETH now before price goes back up with the next BTC rally. 32 ETH is only like $5-6k too, that's fucking next to nothing

You are delusional if you think ETH 2.0 is working by 2021. The roadmap listed 2023 for full ETH 2.0, and we all know ETH developers always delay the shit out of it so there is no way it will actually release in 2023. My guess is 2025-2026, if their funding lasts that long.

Well like I said staking is going to be slow adoption at first anyway. I predict there will be kinks (like network fees) and general stability to iron out first.
