Bought a biggish bag when it was first shilled here and it's done next to fuck all desu pumped a little bit nothing major.

Are masternodes a dead concept? Or will they stand to make you big gainings in future when things pick up?

Masternodes are not dead. But in a bear market, community hype / shills + strong partnerships / customers is the only thing that matters. Nodes are a nice little bonus then, if you believe the project is worth holding longterm.
XDB needs to announce one big client + one decent new exchange (like Kucoin or Huobi) and people will start fomoing for the nodes.
