Let's say that hypothetically Bitcoin goes to 16k in October and then 29k in February. Wouldn't alts also move up some significant percentage also?

>> No.15742687

God. I hope so anon. I'm just so tired of it all.

When BTC goes on a massive pump alts tend to bleed, and when BTC takes a massive dump alts dump as well. Alts only do well when BTC crabs.

no they get slaughtered in btc ratio and then regain a bit when btc stops pumping violently

>> No.15742698

>>15742685
Conventional wisdom would suggest this, but these markets don't follow actual logic. They're more volatile than a mixed race kid with autism.

Never underestimate how wrong you can be.

No, if BTC goes "Hypothetically to 16/29K" all the money from alts will flow into BTC.

Being this retarded. Speaking of new, you have obviously never been through a massive BTC pump new kid.

>> No.15742719

the prophecy says 45% dominance for bitcoin

but i doubt that all shitcoins are going to moon. i bet only eth get much of the remaining 55%

well in 2017, btc ran and top alts followed closely the entire market boomed, you werent sat there waiting for btc to crab so your alt could move

Hahaha haaaaa ... nope

If hot toddy grils strip off in New Orleans over spring break, wouldn’t there be a significant number of them in Bumfuck Alaska also?

>> No.15743056

Is it weird to expect x500-2000 from my alts? I've seen some retarded shit in 2017

Expect? Yes, it’s weird and frankly retarded. Recognize that there is an extremely remote possibility that it could happen? Not unreasonable.

>> No.15743145

Definitely OP. Your terrible investments into projects with no working products are going to make you incredibly reach.

>> No.15743593

Look at the charts all through 2017. You can even do this looking at LINKBTC. They were kinda the same in USD value. It they heavily lost satoshi value. It's best to exit alts when BTC does it's thing (whenever that will be and assuming it goes crazy like before.)

it's weird to expect anything less man i'm in this bitch for the mms anything else and this market can polish my magnum dong

yes of course

depends which alts though. memes/scams will not pump again like in 2017. there are a fair few projects in the top 10 which won't be there in by the time this next bullrun is over.
look at which alts performed well during this recent run up to 14k. it should give you a clearer picture. the only outlier being ETH but it will do well eventually.
