Is it possible to get into the business field via a law degree?

>> No.1572023

A legal practice is a business, though?

You don't need any specific education to start a business. Just do it.

A retarded monkey who flung shit at professors until he was awarded a communications degree could do business. Anybody with any sort of bachelor's degree can do business.

George Soros has a degree in philosophy and joined a merchant bank by simply writing to the fucking managing directors for a job.

Not saying it would work today but you know.

By "law degree" do you actually mean a JD?

I work for a publicly traded investment company any it seems like every major player went to law school. People in high leadership, including both CEOs usually had an education history like this:

>undergrad at fancy university
A few years later
>law school j.d.
A few years later
>masters degree in finance

I've seen alot of big players at major banks get their law degree, especially stock brokers. The company knows you won't mis handle the funds and if you do, its because you know a loop hole.

The only brokers who get in with bachelors or tard degrees are the people who can sell.

i know people who did a few years of biglaw in some corporate practice, went in house and eventually jumped to the business side. that was my plan before i decided to do litigation
narrow track tho. can't expect to go to podunk u and get that sort of outcome. hang out on top-law-schools for a while
