For two of South Africa's largest banks. With regulatory approval of South Africa's central banks. The Zar network is a stablecoin issuance platform and more South african banks will be able to join zar network in the future.

This is the first of many mainnets getting released and it is for traditional banks with billions in assets.

These mainnets are being issued for consortiums wishing to issue stable coins and are secured by public nodes and native FTM tokens, which must also be used to pay TX fees.

The entities using these mainnets are acquiring fantom off the market to establish their reward pools
