Hello frens,

1) How do you guys convinced your parents so that you can work on your side project until it reach the minimum-viable product phase? My parents are rushing me to get a job, but I told them that I want to try my luck with my project since I have nothing to lose and not in any debt/loan/commitment yet.

2) With the increase of inflation rate, productivity rate, getting housing loans are now easier, Deutsche Bank and Bank of Sweden are giving out negative interest rate, Federal Reserve are printing 75 billions USD everyday now, while the salary growth is zero, I think we will experience 2008 market crash again. Am I making the right decision to complete my side project instead of finding a job now? If the market crash happens during I'm on the job, we might get laid off, and all of those money gained and time invested will be for nothing...

Mate I'm in your position. My mom wants me to find a job but I hate the idea of working a 9 to 5 (or even worse.... as she wants me to work a job that has significantly longer hours than that).
Now here's the catch, my dad is currently... unavailable, but when he is I'm pretty sure I'll be set for life. Most of the money will be invested and I will a small % of it to play around in the markets and that will be my job.

I had a boring investment research job for about 2 years then I quit about a year ago to trade my own money. Might not be "prestigious" but I feel great not working for someone else.
