it means nothing. if you actually understand what the quantum computer does, you realize it's built for a very specific computation. in other words it's not general a purpose computer, it's closer to an asic in scope. they're nowhere near general purpose computation required to crack modern encryption methods, meaning that there's plenty of time to move over to post quantum encryption by the time that's available. this is all a giant nothing burger meant to rustle the jimmies of ignorant idiots to get you to sell.
