The most valuable currency to have in a collapse is bullets. I'm gonna tell you fags what to stock up on before the next election. You WILL see at least a doubling in value of all of these items in the next 12 months.

There are thousands of calibers out there, but as always it's important to remember the concept of supply and demand. Get whatever ammunition most people will be trying to aquire.

For pistol rounds, there are three main calibers. .40 smith and Wesson, .45 acp, and 9mm luger.

.40 smith and Wesson is not a good caliber to stock up on for anything but personal use. It is being abandoned by most law enforcement agencies and private shooters in favor of 9mm. You can get these bullets (and the guns that fire them) for cheap right now due to police surplus, but not many people will want to buy them.

9mm ammuntion represents the single best investment in terms of pistol calibers. During previous ammo shortages caused by political events, this ammunition has sold for over a dollar a round (compared to the 15 cents or so it can be had for right now). Its VERY common, being the most widely used pistol caliber in the world. In america it is used by most police departments, aswell as the millitary and most private shooters.

.45 acp is a decent investment, expect to pay about 20 cents per round if you purchase this ammo in bulk. Though the round is not as common as 9mm, it has been around for over a hundred years and is still favored by millions of private shooters. Hedge with this, but aquire primarily 9mm.

I reload. But most people do not. If any of you want to get into the reloading game do it NOW. The moment ammo prices surge everybody starts to get into reloading. Then private shooters and commerical reloaders start competing for primers and powder in a scarce environment.

You can expect to pay 10x more for a primer in 2021 then for a primer now if a democrat candidate wins.

You can expect to pay 2x3 times more for a common desired powder like h110 or varget once things accelerate.

Shotgun shells were not nearly as rare as other types of ammo, but CERTAIN kinds of shotgun ammo were absoloutely rare valuable.

Dont stock up on birdshot unless your planning on prepping for SHTF, in which case that stuff will be very useful for allowing people to feed themselves via hunting.

You forgot to mention .22 lr. 1 brick of .22 sold for $15 today can be worth $50 or more if the panic starts. The biggest flaw in your plan is not taking into consideration that Trump WILL win, and all your purchases will drop in value because there will be a surplus generated by the election run up. This isn't bad if you shoot because it is quite literally impossible to ever have too-much ammo but if you are buying it as an investment hoping to sell higher you will get absolutely rekt when Trump wins.

Thanks anon. Remember that the things which will gain the most value are the items whose supply cannot adjust to meet demand. High capacity magazines once banned from new production, will fetch incredibly high prices.

Gi mags for ar15 rifles were selling for 6 bucks last year. Now they sell for 9 bucks. They will sell for over a hundred dollars a piece if a ban is imminent, and for more then 200 dollar a piece if a ban is enacted.

Buy bulk 30/40 round rifle magazines, as well as any pistol mag that holds over 15 rounds.

Specifically aquire European 30 round ak47 magazines, magpul / GI ar15 mags, and glock mags.

These are cheap and easily sellable as there are millions of guns that use them.

I reload 500 Smith and Wesson magnum, and various other expensive rounds for literally less than a tenth of what store bought ammo costs. It's all relative to the caliber.

Handloading also allows you to make better and more accurate ammo for your gun. Dont reload normal fmj, reload hollowpoints and other expensive types of ammo.

Cast your own shotgun slugs and load em for ~20 cents, buy rare projectiles like ap or incendiary stuff and reload em, etc.

Go to ammoseek.com

It's a link aggregator that will get you the best prices.

One of the most important types of ammo to hoard is .22 long rifle. Due to the way rimfire ammo production is set up, they have a very hard time increasing production to raise demand without building new assembly lines, which companies are very reluctant to do.

Almost every shooter in america owns something in this caliber, it is the cheaper round to shoot which makes it the first thing people rush to stock up on.

.22 ammo prices bottomed out in 2017 at 2.5 cents a round. Current price is 3 cents per round if you get a good deal, but it will be 4-5 cents relatively soon. The standard price for this ammo was 20 cpr from 2013 to 2015, with some people paying up to a dollar.

The panic got so bad that boomers would go to there walmart or local gun store the day new ammo would come into stock, and buy all the ammo only to resell it in the parking lot. It was insane.

Anything loaded to "millitary-specification" in the ammo world gets dispraportionately hit by ammo shortages, because its what people want to be stocked up on in case of habbening.

Look at whatever LE / the millitary is using and copy them. I'll compile a short list for you biz bro's.

Federal flight control buckshot. This is top of the line shotgun ammo that can be had for a fair price, under 60 cents a round.

https://www.sgammo.com/product/12-gauge-ammo/250-round-case-12-gauge-00-buckshot-federal-le12700-flite-control-wad-9-pellet

Winchester milspec 00 buck is a poorer quality ammo, but its the same exact load made on the same assembly line as what the military is using, and that alone makes it desirable to people.

I'm certain guys at gunshows or in personal sales will pay 2 bucks a round for this stuff when the going gets bad. Guys in the know will also consider this a valuable item for trading for other types of ammo.

m855 / ss109 5.56mm ammo
This stuff sucks. here's a quick explanation of why.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGPdVpH23KI
Regardless of this ammos performance, every military guy was issued this stuff during his service, and almost all of them have a huge hard on for it because of that. This ammo was also almost banned under Obama, which has made a lot of people think that its a lot better stuff then it is. You can get it for 25 cents a round at palmetto state armory right now, which is the lowest its been in a long time.

30.06 m2ap black tips
This is old cold war (or even somtimes ww2) Armor piercing ammo, pulled bullets can be had for as low as 75 cents, loaded surplus ammo can be had for as low as a dollar. These rounds are invaluable for use in a happening, and they also sell for a nice price when people are panic buying. Polygunbag is selling em for a decent price right now.

m855a1 /m80a1 is current us millitary issue ammo, its rare due to how new this stuff is, but it should be aquired immediately if you find a good deal.

Pistol JHP's (jacketed hollowpoints) are very subject to price fluctuations. The boat has already sailed on this one for some brands.

Federal HST's and speer gold dots are generally regarded as the best hollowpoints, they are used by the vast majority of law enforcement agencies in America.

Hsts were selling for 40 cents a round before the texas shooting. Now your lucky to see them for under 80 cpr. These bullets will demand prices somewhere north of $1.50 as the election closes in.
