Getting lazy with stocks and options. Just keep breaking even for the most part and now losing interest. Can't day trade as it's become apparent that I usually make the wrong call on a stock, can't really risk inversing it as I'll probably do something that screws me over even though I'd have better odds compared to past performance. The ones that do make me a profit I end up selling at the point it finally breaks out...upwards (eg there's one that is now at least a dollar more than when I sold it recently). Options end up being about a 50/50 split on making the right or wrong choice (when I make the wrong choice its usually to collect an easy premium on a sell call and then the stock ends up going up fast, unsurprisingly).

Have pulled most funds out of stocks at the moment. I have far out call and put options and a few within a months or so time.

What now anons, would I just be better off waiting for when a market crash occurs and buying in then? Was really hoping I could make a decent wad a month ($1,000 not a lot but a start) to stay a neet.

Expect bearish pressure on both until end of day tomorrow at the earliest. Cresco currently trading at 8.90. I would like to scoop a bunch of shares down at 8.50 or so but i'm not sure how much oomph the bears have left here. There are a lot of shorts who need to cover. A portion of those are likely to bail upon successful pass of the SAFE banking act in congress this week.

Yes, it is definitely worth reading. Just bear in mind that it's an old book. The first edition came out in the 30s, I think, and Graham's final revision was in the early 70s. Graham spends a lot of the book talking about bonds, which we know--if we're being smart--should occupy 0% of one's portfolio, as Peter Lynch said. >>15686156

Get the one with the Jason Zweig commentary (the one in your picture). Besides basic commentary on Graham's text, he also fills the gap somewhat between the 70s and the 2000s dot com bust.

I agree, but that's not gonna stop the federal employees from heeding the warnings. Its not gonna stop higher ranking guys from lecturing the lower ones who get caught vaping. The bigger you get, the less you can afford to take big risks.

4chan contrarians and /g/ artists have bashed Apple since the iPod got big. They have a product that people enjoy using, that everyone from children to seniors can figure out. They’re diversifying, the type of “innovation” they can afford now are things like the Apple card and subscription fees. Both for things like cloud backups and the fees they get when people use their devices to subscribe to Netflix and such.

People like to rage at Apple for capitalizing on their brand strengths, customer loyalty, and ease of use. Seems silly to me.

It’s like the hate for Nintendo. Fine if you think the product is for bugmen, but they found their niches and what they’re doing makes sense.

A lot of people I know do upgrade yearly with iPhones. I don’t see the point in recent years as the phones aren’t substantially upgraded to justify the cost of everything. Upgrade charge on wireless service account, buy a new screen protector, buy a new phone case and then the premium you have to pay for the new phone. I’m just saying that’s why I like this phone I feel from using it and research into this phone it’s going to be a solid phone to last years for me. Then if there’s anyone like me on or people switch over from Android I think the new iPhone will satisfy them to last. I have had Android phones before and software is competitive with Google except for the most crazy on edge or gimmicky features for software wise. As for hardware Apple is every bit competitive

I was going to go Android route because of the disappointment of no 5g but I thought and thought about this, as I like to keep my phone and use it for awhile, nobody is going to get 5g speeds at least for another year. If their phone says 5g I bet if you do a test it’s not any faster than 4g right now. Then you have 5g is going to be congested from everyone bogging the new best things network and also 5g doesn’t inherently travel very far or well through walls and things. I live out in the country for peace and travel into the city for everything else. So for me I bet 5g is going to be awhile and for everyone else I’d give it at least a year to not be ripped off on having “5G”.... but nice iPhone stead you get there, I’m liking my slightly upgraded IPhone X. Face ID is faster than IPhone X I messed with before deciding which was a thing for me because my hands are always wet or dirty and can’t get Touch ID to work. Industry-wide, we don't have the capacity to support the military expansion anymore.

We are trying to ramp back up to pre-Cold War levels of production and the USA literally doesn't have enough industry to support it. All the boomers who worked from the 70-s thru 90's are all retired and the workforce is millenials and boomers with an average of 5 years of experience.
