I’m starting my first real job (outside of retail cucking and warehouse cucking and stuff like that) next week as an engineer. Some of the normies Ive seen on LinkedIn that work at this place seem like geniuses with all the complicated terminology they use and projects they’ve been a part of that save millions of dollars.

Are normies fucking geniuses? I’m a bit scared to interact with them, I’m not even sure how I got this job. Am I going to be a worthless retard compared to them?

Normies are geniuses because they know how to navigate in the real world on top of having the necessary skills to do their jobs.

No, they are just trying to market themselves.

They don't care if they are utterly incompetent at their job, they will just find another job through the connections they made.

You gotta learn to market youself anon, and be truthful because that will put you ahead of the pack.

It's all bullshit, but it's a game that both employers and employees need to play, so get used to it.

Are you saying they aren’t actually doing the things on their resume, or they are using language to make what they did sound more complicated than it actually was? How is that possible?

It's called lying, a skill so powerful that you're taught that it's bad at a young age but in truth it's an essential of life

70% of your coworkers will completely incompetent and/or lazy. The “complicated terminology” is just lingo specific to each industry that you’ll pick up on very quick. Those that are able to sell what they’ve done advance in the company. You’ll be fine, just improve communication/social skills and never understate what you do and you’ll be a top 25% employee
