I believe this is a NEMA 10-50. It currently powers a range cooktop. Can I buy a 10-50p to 6-30r adapter and just plug a Tripp Lite PDU into it? I need to power a 1200 watt modular PSU, 2 server PSUs, a monitor, and fans.

Or do the opposite of what biz says because 10 50 is 3 pole 3phase and 6 30 is 2 pole single phase

My options are kinda limited here. This is the only 240 V outlet in my apartment. I need to use it.

Then unless you want to start rewiring your rental sound like you know what needs to be done.

Indeed. As Pajeet would say, I will do the needful.

I just want my $5000 rig to be safe.

Also , any thoughts on boxing it up in a well-ventilated soundproofing box like you would use for a shop vacuum? I’m thinking I’ll find some free cabinet or big ice box on craigslist and make a couple of big hole in it, one for intake of cold, filtered air from the outside pulled in by a strong fan, and another tube with a weaker fan pulling hot air out of another window (or into my apartment so I don’t have to pay the propane jew). I could pad the interior with automobile sound deadening butyl rubber mats.

Reverse the fan order. I meant stong fan pulling hot air out , and the weaker fan pulling in cold air. May not even need the weaker fan. Could just have passive intake of cold air.
