No one is working on it because no one really knows how. Chainlink doesn't either. The reputation/staking system described in their whitepaper doesn't work (hence why they haven't even started working on it, it would expose the scam).

Actual trustless, censorship resistant, sybil resistant oracles would be amazing. Chainlink has no clue how to do this and haven't even started working on it.
