I can count on one hand the amount of quality link threads we have had the past 4 months. Mainnet, Legend of Zelda, Chu Meter. Maybe the Mixicle thread. But that's really it.

I can even pinpoint the moment in which LINK threads began to shift, right after the IC3 announcement and the website/logo rebrand. But it was manageable, and our culture caught on to the nulinkers rather quickly. Link threads were still enjoyable from time to time.

But something has changed. It is no secret we have been flooded with waves of swine. Mainnet announcement was the final blow. In the 2 month period that followed, Link threads have been shattered, and with it, our culture consumed.

This was the first and only bastion to talk about Chainlink on the entire internet. /biz/ and Chainlink were synonymous. The popularity and sudden influx of people scratching their heads and running here after the hype has irreversibly steered our beloved threads adrift.

Not sure how many of us are still left browsing this shithole. Consider this an S.O.S.

Our culture. Our excitement. Our times together. Those were real. And those were great.

Nulinker here, was shilled by an online friend during the coinbase pump. I would like to thank him but on the other I think many anons here shilled it very hard out of biz and hence your culture is gone. I guess it was all inevitable. I wish I had two years. It's not just chainlink threads that died, it's biz that died. The quality here is lower now than it was in December 2017 with 1% of the post volume. I was a regular poster since the start of 2017 and now I can't bring myself to visit this hollow shell of a board more than once a week. Every time I do I feel sad and gross afterward. I suppose the silver lining is I'm a lot more productive now that I'm not wasting my time in this hell hole.

It's easy to see it as an influx of newfags but honestly it also comes down to the lack of mystery. There have been a couple of decent threads about Mixicles and DECO but what has really changed is that it doesn't feel like a mystery that needs to be unravelled any more.
I get the impression there are still a lot of OG linkers here, but now the cat is out of the bag there isn't as much need to go diligently breadcrumb digging, it's more just a waiting game.
Also post count pumped during the last mini pump so I'm sure there are tons of people who will come back to /biz/ to celebrate when it pumps again, but are off doing other things at the moment.
