LINK will be blockchain agnostic.
Smart contracts are never going to see mass real-world adoption without an oracle platform that provides accurate real-world data for input.
ETH in the long run will be worthless without something like LINK. Given how much backing ETH has and how much smart contracts as a system is speculated to be worth, LINK is guaranteed to be valuable in the future.
