The micro is just a small part of the macro, and the rules are essentially the same. If i can observe, how in my early life my kindness and altruism has given me nothing at best and led to me being exploited at worst, this is always true. So I contacted Uber, told them that I found an item and they said I'm not obligated to return it though if I did I'd receive a $15 returned item fee.
we couldn't reach the guy w the wallet on the phone so I charged him a $100 return fee drove the 30 minutes to his house (knocked hard and noone was home) and placed the wallet in the mailbox w an anonymous note stating "I found this last night and returned it to the address on the id."

I kept the situation chaotic neutral,still went out of my way to return it to the home and not take all the cash and throw the wallet on the highway.
