The job is options is still open but who knows if I'll get one or the other. Far as AMRN dumping, well yeah it'll have ups/downs but overall after 11/11 there's no stopping it from gaining serious traction.

In any event I think T stock will fall due to one simple reason. That activist dude has zero chance in hell of actually forcing the board to do anything. Sure he dumped 3.2 billion into T. But that's only a 1% stake. The board will listen, then tell him to fuck off. Plus I'm sure Trump will put out another few Tweets that sends the markets into free fall before the year is done or just starting next year. Right in time for Tax Refunds to hit.

The bigger a business is, the more risk averse it has to be. They didn’t “miss” vaping anymore than McDonalds “missed” the veggie burger.

Altria didn’t try to completely buy Juul or Cronos out, they bought a stake, because they’d rather share the risk as well as the rewards. They’ve got eyes on what’s happening. They can’t and usually don’t want to make quick and drastic changes.

No. And, contrary to a lot of comments I see on related news stories, it isn't big tobacco either. Big tobacco, or Altria at least, is invested in vaping. The hysteria appears to be mostly public driven. Gen x teachers and parents who see kids adopting the habit and freaking out about it. Media are boosting it because it brings in good ratings. Trump's move to stamp down on flavoring is ridiculous. There are all sorts of things teenage minors want to buy/consume regardless of whether the products are marketed specifically to them. Only way to cut down on minor purchases is to apply pressure to retailers to beef up their age verification process, only use couriers (for online sales) that offer ID check on delivery option to double up the redundancy.

Not on black or grey market products. I assume you're talking about the vitamin E acetate issue for THC oil carts? Those are the ones causing real health issues. Standard nicotine e-liquid, in bottled or cart form, do not contain vitamin e acetate. Never have. There was no reason to use it. Vitamin E acetate was used by shady dealers to make the liquid thicker, which, apparently, made the liquid seem more "pure", or I suppose more concentrated, to the consumer. Nicotine e-juice is plenty thick enough due to vegetable glycerine making up 50%+ of the mixture in the most popular liquids. Also you don't want extra thick e-liquid as that makes it wick poorly through the cotton wicked heating coils.

I heard a piece of advice a long time ago that I didn't really listen too, but was pretty sound. The advice was to focus on one narrow issue and trade that. Coffee, for example. Just trade that one commodity. If everyday you read and follow news about that one issue, then in a relatively short amount of time you will become pretty knowledgeable about it. In time you will get into "the groove" of trading that one issue and develop a 'feeling' for it (as he put it). That feeling will make you a much, much better trader then most 'general issue' traders. Seems like good advice, especially for beginners.

And then THE WORLD! We will become an unstoppable force, the likes of which no one has ever seen, mostly because we're anonymous. It's the volatility index for sp500. It's calculated from options iv which is the expected future market range/volatility. If the chart is stable vix is low. If shit is going down vix goes up. If you look at $vix on tradingview that what you see is spot vix. You can't trade this. You can only buy derivatives like options and etn...which have massive rollover costs because contango.
Look at UVXY and notice that it's going straight into the ground. That's because of roll over. You can't just buy vix and do a little wait and see.
Would be easy af since vix is high vola in low range. Buy in the lower half and wait it out until you're green. There was $xiv which was a $vix inverse (who would have guessed). It was a sure way to make a lot of money until it wasn't.

I am not disillusioned to think I'm going to be Wolf of Wall Street or that I'm going to out perform professionals with instant feeds and spend every second of their day analyzing everything. I'm just trying to learn more about finance to at least understand more than I currently know, which is nothing. I appreciate you trying to stop me from throwing money away on options or TVIX but I had no intention on doing it to begin with.

For people already involved in money, it's not great. It IS good for people who have no concept of passive income, investing, or real estate investing. Do understand, many normies do not think that way. Actually, most dont. They only think of jobs, savings, and college as routes to wealth, and never once consider rental properties or other forms of passive investment. It's useful for waking up normies, but beyond that, no real advice.
