Yeah, people keep pretending this is going to end finance because it makes their feefees feel good but big finance is going nowhere. All that's going to happen is we'll get some useful tools, increase the tech Dept, increase the audit Dept, and trim some fat.

It will. The only reason I ever hire someone to do financial work is because numbers need to be copied from one form to another form, or from a ledger to a spreadsheet. Checks print based on that because I hired someone to push the "print" button.

Contemporary finance is copy/paste and printer maintenance. As a business owner, there is NOTHING I look forward to more than general adoption of crypto.
