Dude, there is no substitute for hard work, put in loads of extra time. Don't slack off, I also took a gap in my studies, went back and didn't put in the extra work to bring myself up to scratch (calculus being a big one). As a result in feeling like I'm not gonna get the grades I need, x4 resits the summer.
