DO NOT UNDER ESTIMATE THE POWER OF POSITIVE THOUGHT! ESPECIALLY COLLECTIVE POSITIVE THOUGHT!

THIS SHIT IS GOING TO REACH $1,000 EASILY!
HOLD THAT THOUGHT AND VISUALIZE IT IN YOUR MIND EVERYDAY AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE STARTING NOW AND IT WILL MANIFEST INTO REALITY. DO IT! I'M NOT JOKING!

me too ( i still wage for corporate america) , just try to be grateful that you have this opportunity. i find myself studying stoicism , asking myself what would sergey do.

My feeling is that, actually I think he may be the most based human of our generation. What do i mean by this? The ancient greek philosophers all live their lives IN SERVICE to humanity, unlike the neets on this board who seek to take from humanity for their own gain.

Make no bones about it, the defi/decentralize narrative, improved lag/lash, whatever you like .. is the equivalent of the unwinding of a spring thats underpinned our contractual relationships with each other and society for 1000's of years. Sergey is un-fucking us, by giving the ability for parties to engage in trusted transactions without intermediaries draining value.. at global economic scale.

we're entering a new era.. and i cant wait see whats unleashed.

my short term outlook is very hazy , so much is up in the air and i think its difficult to speculate. i dont see why hedera wouldnt be ready from the jump - they dont suffer from the same scale issues as the eth network.

whats encouraging is chainlink delivering on their promises, the marketplace, the threshold sigs, etc. whats less encouraging is the financial services industry dragging their feet in readying their api's.

id expect CL adoption in certain industries before others. it looks like legal and insurance are safer bets , with payments / fin services lagging at the moment. Check out the api readiness reports for more on that

i guess we'll see about hedera.
i believe financial services will actually come first but crypto related, i believe RCN will be part of it

Can you explain about PSD2? I've never quite understood that. So banks will be providing API access meaning devs can now get access to peoples banking details. Is the "hype" about PSD2 that Chainlink will do an adapter so smart contracts can get access to peoples banking details as well? So that a smartcontract can automatically execute bank transfers? Is this also the missing piece of the smartcontract paying out in any way the client wants?

The hype about PSD2 is that Chainlink gives banks a way to monetize their banking APIs so fintech companies can't get a free lunch from them while also providing a method to get API banking data on-and-off the blockchain.

Aren't the API calls free? Or what you are saying is for them to monetize them, they need to run Chainlink nodes where they sell the API calls? I can understand the blockchain part where they could run their own nodes and sell the data directly to smartcontracts rather than some other guy spins up the node and calls their APIs.
