Trading noob here, I just buy and hodl.

So $1 Billion worth of BTC has just been moved from an unknown wallet to another.

People are speculating whether there is an impending dump or pump (or neither).

My question is how could this possibly cause a pump? If you're the whale with 100,000 BTC on an exchange, how exactly do you use it to cause a pump?

Nobody on biz will be able to answer this

It could be an otc buy. 1b is likely institutional movement.

If that were the case: a) someone wanted to sell a shitload of BTC and b) someone bought them below exchange rates and can now sell higher whenever they want. Neither of those things is bullish, as OP is asking.

I didn't have high hopes.

If true it’s a pretty obvious manipulation genius.
Just one of the reasons I wouldn’t touch BTC with an incels softcock. It’s not a store of value. It’s too volatile ; 80% down 5 X in just ten years ( I’m betting the next down it will never recover from) Easy manipulated prices . Low volume. Shrinking total token market cap. Bogus stories for impend pump and dump spun every other day. Reminds me of the eighties when every retard was absolutely going to become a millionaire in those stupid amway pyramid selling scams. Moths to,a flame.

Why would any corporation move $1 billion Bitcoin in a single transfer? That just seems carelessly stupid. Like why would they not manage it in hundreds of smaller transfers, simply to account for human error?

Anyone who buys can sell at any time. It bullish becuase the buyer is likely institutional and they dont buy just to dump a week later

I already know it could easily be used for manipulation. You tank the price and buy back cheaper after the panic and bot selling. I'm asking why anyone thinks it could be BULLISH manipulation. Nice rant though.

wrong. maybe the first 50 btc...

Interesting. So possibly an institution is betting big that BTC will be rising quite a bit from here.

they do it before a big move to scare goyim
or it's an otc sale

>> No.15505886

>>15505155
it's usually done in the open out of necessity or with the goal to scare the market down. Too many times we've seen a big move, a dump and a rebound higher than the original price

Good question.

Maybe Russian criminals or government. They are that stupid and arrogant. They simply don't know it might fail.

a) someone wanted to buy a shitload of btc withiyt driving the price up
b) someone sold them above market rate and now going to fill their supplies from the market
