If trump loses 2020, im 100% its going to moon.
I work in oil and gas and im gonna be real with you all, the market is dying and right now our currency depends on the petrodollar. iran already called out bluff. crypto and gold are going to have a great year 2020.

You really think trump will lose?

he’s proclaimed as Israel’s best president yet, they love the guy. He’ll stay in office a 2nd term. If you wanna make big bucks, bet on the election.

Oh did someone finally figure out cold fusion or renewables that aren't an overpriced joke? No? Oil+ gas shall remain king and the petrodollar shall remain his chancellor.

Trump will not lose. There is zero chance he will lose. Look at the idiots he's running against. None of them have a chance in hell. You think this country is going to elect a socialist to replace Trump? lol and forget about Sleepy Joe that dude is a buffoon.

You what? US oil production hit an all time high 3 months ago at 12.5m bpd and is expected to hit 13.4 by year end. Crude is sitting at $55 so there is no sign of production cuts, you haven’t seen anything yet. When WTI goes back to the 20s (this winter), you’ll see real “dying”

Iran doesn’t mean anything. If sanctions are lifted WTI drops to 35, otherwise it’s already going to 45 based on slowing markets

if youre in IT it doesnt matter. you can switch industries with ease. id argue you can make much more as IT outside O&G.

i am in US. midstream is doing well but upstream is dying and downstream is slowing down as well.

>>15471482
hard to say. i think he will sabotage himself because he knows shits about to hit the fan and rather have the next guy take the blame for the crash

>>15471483
lol you dont know anything. oil and natural gas sales about declining. electric cars are just better in everyway and will mog the market. right now O&G is mostly relying on marine and air vehicles. when Elon announces electric planes, O&G is dead. its not a matter of if, just when

The technicals for both gold and silver look pretty good.

For gold, it broke out of its massive multi-year ascending triangle back in June 2019, and it's above all major moving averages (50, 100, 200) on both the daily and weekly charts. It's in a very strong position. Even if it consolidates at this price level for a bit, it's unlikely to lose much position.

Silver is also above all major moving averages on both the daily and weekly charts. However, what's interesting about silver is that it hasn't been over its weekly 200 SMA since September of 2016. It broke out of it in early August 2019, and it's not looked back since.

Both gold and silver look relatively safe and strong.

oil market is dependent on USD
e.g. saudi buys with USD
so all saudi's oil wealth backs our currency.
When gaddafi and saddam wanted to change that and opt for gold, we spread propaganda in their areas, turned their people against them and got them killed.

Assad is against USD controlling his oil. look at how they frame him for gassing his people when in reality he is innocent of that and winning the war.

without oil and gas, our dollar isnt worth anything.
>b-but our military supports our currency
wrong. we lost in afghanistan, we lost in iraq, we lost in vietnam, and we're losing in syria.

OP is clearly a larper and doesn't know anything about geopolitics or oil and gas production. The US is set to outproduce the majority of OPEC next year, costs of fracking continue to go down and as legacy fracking wells clear out the industry will become even more competitive. If growth continues, combined US and Canadian production will outproduce all of OPEC within 5 years and you think the petrodollar is dying? Wtf are you smoking?

Silver is more scarce above ground than gold is. Silver is priced low enough that a quadruple in value is very feasible. Historically high gold/silver ratio. Physical silver being purchased at record numbers by whales. The average mans safe haven during global economic uncertainty.

>> No.15478156

Insider here. JPM has been accumulating for what they foresee would be coming and won't be selling their stock pile. The US is working on a silver and gold standard which is why you will start to see moves like today look like chump change. Over the next year you will see a major shift in the PM market and those not accumulating now will be left in the dust.
