Which one will become the platform for Security token offerings (STOs) and asset tokenization?

Ethereum or EOS or Tezos or Cardano?

>> No.15418791

>>15418740
None of them, there will be no tokenized securities. It's against the regulations.

ETH but it doesn't matter, people won't buy into STOs with ETH, or at all.

Why? I thought STO's we're the next big thing for crypto.

Can you explain your logic? Or is there none?

News like this are always fake, you can tell just by the headline.

No STO's and if they allow them no one will go through KYC. You need a lot of buyers for big projects to pump.
IFO and airdrops are cheaper and friendlier

Dude, stop man. You've already embarrassed yourself enough

I'm trying to get a legitimate discussion going on here about which platform is currently best positioned to become the preferred STO/asset tokenization platform.

And you're not helping, at all.

I'm telling you that you literally posted fake news. I just can spot them right away because I've seen nearly hundreds of them already. They're all the same. Open your article, it refers to "prnewswire.co.uk", a pajeet submission site where any monkey can post an article for a couple of shekels. There is no real source, no reference to the official Brazilian website, nothing. It's fake from the ground up. There is no Brazilian bank willing to use Tezos. Welcome to crypto.

Ethereum already is.
It's proven to be secure, practical, neutral and flexible.
Tezos and ADA haven't proven themselves.
EOS has been colluding with exchanges and vulnerable to the whims of block producers.

Why would anyone buy a token when you can just buy into a regular IPO? Literally the same thing, except STOs also carry semblance to ICOs, which left a lot of people broke.
That's at least my logic, but if there will be an STO craze it's gonna be ETH no doubt. Even shitcoins like tether are moving to ETH since it's just better, and most secure (in terms of hashrate, only 2nd to BTC but it doesn't have smart contracts, at least not in the extended form we're used to)
But even assuming there is an STO craze, people probably aren't going to buy into it exclusively with ETH (or the select network and gas currency of choice), but with fiat and bitcoins, the tokens themselves will be gimped by regulation so hard that there won't be point developing an extensive token smart contract, just the same old ERC20, give the company all the tokens, and then spread them to the STO buyers manually. Very little ETH involved, and even if everyone buys into it with ETH it'll have to be dumped for fiat immediately.
You can be hopeful and think the STO companies will leverage smart contracts but let's be real, they're all going to be scams, the only reason to launch an STO is if you think IPO buyers won't buy into your dumb company. They're gonna pretend to do something, pay themselves nice salaries, and go bankrupt.

I might be overly pessimistic but STOs? come on. Bakkt is better hopium than ICOs with a new name. The crowdfund act is basically a scam, which these US STOs will rely on.

STO won't pump cause you need fully KYCed account to own them, crypto only works cause of the complete lack of regulation and relatively easy anonimity.
the STO narrative is just a weak narrative engineered by patrick birne to pump raven,
