Portable wagon selling some local delicacy. For my city it would be meat pies. Just park it in front of bars every night when they close and make cash. Dirt cheap to procure, and sell with big profit. Don't even do this yourself, but hire some school kids to do it.

I build odds and ends out of plywood (think cabinets, furniture, toolboxes, sculpture, etc. in the style of Tom Sachs). Commission work only, right now, but planning to expand with a webstore. $200 profit per day of labor with only me doing everything involved. Its pretty nice.

Originally started showing friends and stuff. Eventually started showing in local art galleries. All of my prototypes are things that I'm making for myself, anyway (working on a combination welding cart/whiskey bar cart at the moment). When someone says "ooh, I want that", I already know how long it took to make and the rough materials cost.

You have been visited by the Laura of mediocre threads.

This thread is about to die with only 9 replies. OP, hopefully you got what you desired out of it and that it wasn't a total loss.

Flip used books
Some people give them away to you for free provided you clear their space; but the most important thing is being able to make sort of a choice so you can sell individual books for more profit

I'm an antique dealer and I can tell you right now this is not the way to go. Sold over 10,000 books, ask me anything

Maybe we live in different countries and operate in different sectors
Where I live some particular titles or edition of books out of print from the ‘80s are more rare than some antique books
And if you don’t find anything particularly valuable you can still flip them to boomers not acquainted with libgen and paper books enthusiasts
Obviously this won’t make you rich, but some right contacts and you get a decent and constant profit
