So guys I'm in a huge mess rn.
I made a paypal account with a fake name 2 months ago (Used a fake name because I didn't want to get harassed by neets) and made some money with it. I could always cash out until a few weeks ago when paypal removed my bank account from there and I don't understand why (anyone have similar stories? Do you know why it happened?)
Now it asks for verification, which I can't give because obviously the name is mismatched. The account is limited only in the sense that it doesn't allow me to delete it, but in practice I can only receive money, can't send and can't cash out, it gives me the temporary unavaible bullshit error.
How can I accumulate my linkies now

>> No.15325074

Good internet practices (not using your real name) don't mesh well with lawful banking practices. We're in the middle of a crunch where enforcement is resulting in the two colliding.

how do you even buy link with paypal? are you using it as a middleman between exchanges or something

Can someone exlain what PayPal is? Why does it fucking exist? What is the fucking point of it? Why did it pop into existence? Why do sites want me to use it, instead of just putting in bank card details. What the fuck was the problem with just using a bank? Why this middleman PayPal that I constantly hear people bitching about since PayPal seems to act like some fucking moral authority and constantly snooping around and fucking with people's money and accounts and denying people transactions for certain things etc.

Will Link fucking kill PayPal? I fucking hope it will. Sick of hearing people bitch about this useless busy body company.

Initially wanted to cash out, but had a problem with my bank account that worked until then.
I tried trading on local bitcoin, paypal doesn't let me. Keep in mind that my account is technically not limited, so it's like shadowbanned lmao

>paypal doesn't let me
This is what fucking gets me. Why the fuck does some website think it gets to decide what you can buy with your money? Honestly I've never had problems with PayPal myself, because I've only ever had to use it for a few Ebay things years back, but the amount of absolute bullshit problems I've heard from others is astounding. No other company is as up it's ass as Paypal is in regards to what it's customers are allowed to do.

>t. faggots who weren't alive before Great Elon redefined online payments
Paypal tbf exists for a reason. And the only reasons banks still exist is they are such over-regulated protected snowflake dinosaurs, the fucking state won't even let them go bust and fucking die, their rightful fate. tldr, pre-Paypal, EVERYTHING would take 3 days, international payments cost you $15 to even consider it, 'security' would prevent you fucking doing anything online in the first place, etc. Paypal might not be perfect, but Holy Shit, they are night and day over FUCKING FUCK USELESS BANKS

No one's fault but yours buddy, how stupid can you get creating an account under a fake name and thinking they won't verify your identity, yo ass stupid

Paypal is risky if you arent using personal info. or if you arent running multipes to control losses. Best bet is to contact them directly and explain that u are new to paypal and wanted a new name and hopefully they school u on business accounts and shit. I think once ypur transactions reach a number you automatically get flagged and need to verify because of money laundering.

u need to learn how to make stealth accounts which is essential for running ebay merchant accounts. Stupid shit happens all the time with paypal and ebay.

You are probably a zoomer who wasn't there in the early days of the internet so I will explain it to you:
Banks don't do payment, it's the job of payment processors, companies like VISA or Paypal for example, which provide payment gateways.

These gateways root your payment from your bank to the bank of the merchant without you having to exchange actual banking infos and wait 2 business days to transact.
There are slight differences between the two (as Paypal offers a form of account too) but you get the picture, they are facilitators, without them there would be just cash or 2-3 days bank transfers.

Paypal became a thing because there just wasn't any real solution for internet payment at that time and a lot of people were scared to share their credit card details on some random merchant website.

Paypal provided a solution to that which was more secure and easy to setup for merchants back in the 00s, now of course VISA/Mastercard works just fine but they lagged for years and Paypal built a huge market share in the meantime.

Paypal is having questionable tactics toward merchants today and has to face increasing competition from Google/Amazon/Facebook.
In bonus there are crypto/fiat alternative like Nimiq OASIS which will add on top of that.

Btw free coins for whoever wants to test Nimiq:

It's not a shitcoin anon, it's a very good project, for example you can transfer coins in a decentralized manner just by sharing a link like I did, no other coin does that.
I promise it won't eat you.

These 100 free coins are worth like 6 cents dude. I can't even buy a single Link with that if I sell them. I'm passing.

NIM isn't a new project either, it's been around for a year now. Not falling for it sorry.
