It depends, I just bought 50 shares of FSLY yesterday at 16.40 on a....whim...and now it’s at 19.00, if I believe the security can make me an easy 100$ I put 50 but if it’s a long term I’ve been dying to get into like AMD or YETI then I dump 100 on the dip and drop off some when it goes up, repurchase on the dip for my core and sell again later. Well for FSLY, I kinda knew something was up when it mooned to 25 and ranked on a decent ER, I waited for it to resume trend and loaded up when I saw it bounce to 16 from 14-15 range and plus some tute was buying up shares like a looney toon so there was pretty big buy signals, everything else is mainly reviewing charts and patterns I have LOADS of tickers I monitor to watch the patterns.

Well I don’t even know if something is going to moon that’s beyond me but I do know when sentiment is high enough that it’s likely to see upward(or downwards) movement. It takes time man I’ve bagheld a few and locked in losses on a few bad plays but made up for it with others just practice and try not to chase or buy the top unless you’re certain with sentiment that it’ll go higher.

Guys, I checked out TLRD's dividend and it's evidently $0.18 quarterly. That's $0.72 per annum, meaning, assuming shares are purchased at the $4.38 price in my picture, a 16.4% annual yield from dividends alone. Plus, since the stock has lost about 80% of its value over the last 12 months, the share price should increase in value by 5x sooner or later.

I'm pretty good at predicting commodity etfs because resource price is usually determined by scarcity and world events. But I am a noob (started during the tariffman turmoil) so it's hard predicting corporate decisions.

This is just one of those stocks that you look at and start getting warm fuzzy feelings. I feel a little bit of reservation due to the casualization of both business dress and church dress. The most significant bear thesis IMO is how they changed the Dilbert comic strip to have them all wearing polo shirts. The DF brands are regional. I don't think we have Dairy Pure here. We have PET. At any of the major grocers that have their own milk labels, the store-brand milk is consistently cheaper by as much as a 2:1 ratio. There's no reason to choose PET unless you live in the ghetto without a car and have to do all you're grocery shopping at the convenience store or something. This only applies to milk btw. It's just something to understand about price targets

Let's say that a firm like Schwab or Morningstar have maybe 60-80 people active in-house doing market research just for their price targets. The number might be a little lower than that. At the same time you have all kinds of other firms doing market research on just certain stocks or certain sectors, but Morningstar is supposed to cover EVERYTHING.
Their analysts can only work 40 hours a week, and they have a LOT of stocks to cover. Low market cap, there isn't that much information for. So the price targets for a lot of stocks are not something you want to stake your future on. They aren't meaningless, and they are based on some information and methodology, but these market analysts aren't gods. If they were really good they'd be working at DE Shaw or Renaissance; if they're working at Morningstar or Schwab or places like that it's probably because they DON'T know enough to beat the market. Most are just normal people who are making 90K-160K (my guess) a year plugging numbers into excel spreadsheets.

Ouch, not going to least the dentist can come back on you badly. I know from first hand experience. Didn't go for 10 years. Finally had to cause I cracked a tooth. Tooth was to bad to save so had it taken out. During that they found a cavity. Told me if I'd waited 6 more months it would be too bad to save as well.
