I work for a group with one of the largest CME positions. Conference call tonight, decision has been made to induce another accumulation zone around $6k.

They are going to use Bakkt and spot markets to reduce the price down to $6k where they are trying to accumulate more cone. They think Bakkt has high retail sentiment and they plan to use that against the market.

There will be a slew of FUD coming out around Bakkt release, it's going to get crazy. HODL!

Thanks for the tip, gonna get some of my whale friends together and dump on em and trigger their stops like we did last November.

If this isn't a larp, how long are they planning to suppress the price?

a week or two, depends on how much buy pressure is down there.

They think the 6k psychological barrier isn't as strong as it has been in the past, so they are a bit worried about going too hard.

None of this makes sense. First of all CME volume is shit compared to overall. If your "group" is planning to short down to $6k, a single independent whale could pump and you'd be rekt and BTFO.

Secondly, there won't be a "slew of FUD" when bakkt is launched, there will be a slew of rocket fuel. All the news will be about who's next (Fidelity, TD Ameritrade, etc.) and how high BTC can go.

And finally, if your "group" could really push the price to whatever target they wanted, then they'd be the richest people on earth just from a few moths of swing trading.

your reading comprehension fucking sucks bro.

Bakkt and Spot is being used, our long position on CME is already set from February, and has been rolling over since.

aren't CME futures strictly cash settled, doesn't that mean they can just print BTC via naked shorts and dump the price at will?

Again I will point out that you're full of shit. If any group could push the price where they wanted, they'd have a money printer. Your make-believe group for instance could have hundreds of millions on each swing the last two months by longing and shorting at precisely the right times. But you kept your long open since Feb huh? Your lies are quickly unraveled.

This has to be some kind of reverse psychology. Why the fuck would anyone sell below 9-10k anymore?

buying below 9k is free money now, literally everybody and their grandma knows this. People would murder to buy at 6k, can't see it going close unless we hit a recession HARD

Just had a look. There's only been 3935 BTC (788 Contracts) worth of Volume on CME BTC Futures contract for Aug 2019 (since Jun 2019). We see that kind of volume on Binance in literally one day.

Tether is why Bitcoin is worth a damn. It's Bitcoin. It isn't fake or doesn't work. It's highly manipulated and everything that made it mainstream after Satoshi disappeared has ruined the legitimacy. A normie can't buy it without worrying that what they hodl will be worth less than what they paid at the time they did.

Bitcoin looks absolutely like a demo of what is to come with digital currencies that use cryptographic proofs. It's a shitfest when you take a hard look at the space.

>> No.15319241

so they're supposedly going to reduce the price to 6k but you suggest people hold as opposed to sell (profit).
