Does anyone else wonder if they're sinning by trying to become wealthy? I don't even want to live in a mansion or drive a Ferrari anything, I already have a comfy small apartment that's all I could ever want for a home and my car is perfectly sufficient. All I want is the power to make positive change in the world, the power to give my loving parents the wonderful and long vacation they deserve, to keep the soup kitchens stocked and the homeless shelters heated, to leave a legacy as a charitable philanthropist. But you need money to give money, and I'm a bit paranoid that the pursuit of wealth in and of itself might be sinful.

Destroyed when I was a young teen, after I was subjected to a single mother, which, as opposed to my father, always hated and discouraged everything I did. That coupled with me having often been banned for cheating when trying to play competitive games or otherwise hated on... You slowly become less and less ambitious. Unless you sit in front of your computer all day long, doing nothing but browsing message boards and drinking diet pepsi. And occasionally you still play these video games, but if you do, then only to troll. Of course this causes you to get flamed still, just as you got flamed when still ambitious... only for entirely different reasons. There is no winning, Anons. You will always be hated. If you try, they will flame you. And if you don't try, they will also flame you.

The biggest downfall of ambition is not fitting in with the mediocre herd which is constantly stuck dreaming but never achieving. You have to try, but never actually succeed. Otherwise you will be despised no matter what you do.
