It's nothing. It is it's own network. It's own store, where you can buy things with it. What those things are, no one knows. No indication if itll be an open market or just a app-type store with merch items and common household cleaning items.

The point is that pi is like facebook. You are the product. Your data is being recorded. You sign up with your phone and a social media profile. You're being logged and recorded. No proof of work even, since it doesnt actually mine on your phone, it's a gimmick, it's just a ticker (and this is not hidden, they boast this point when attacked with "what about battery consumption"). So what is the function of it? Nothing. No one cares about it, it does nothing new. It literally requires you to sacrifice privacy and phone storage. And it's being shilled by some "c00ol hip!" marketing agency out of San Fran, which is why you're seeing so many repetitive brainless biz posts.
