How to profit?

3 ways:

1. Buy genesis packs and sell the cards after October 10th or later. The rare packs packs are considered the best EV but if you're lazy the legendary packs aren't terrible and would be easier to resell.

The genesis set is evergreen and won't ever rotate out of play so if the games succeed these cards could be quite valuable.

2. Participate in weekly weekend constructed tournaments. There are $1,000 in packs on the line to go to the top 100 players of the weekend. There is no entry fee and the winners are mainly whoever plays the most games with a decent winrate.

Artifact failed because it required buy in and was at it's core an incoherent mess of a game. This game is like hearthstone with a little MTG depth. It even has Chris Clay, the former MTG Arena lead at the helm.

This makes the barrier to entry much lower combined with the ability to sell your cards without valve taking all your profits is much more attractive. You can join this game for free and any money you put in you can resell with your collection when you leave.
