On top of that, we send troops over to Israel to help them secure their border, and just defend them from any threat in general. Why do we need to give them all this aid, if our current administration is all about "America first?" AIPAC isn't even listed as a foreign lobbying group. 1) US has signed of agreements to benefit the military industrial complex with all sorts of our allies. We literally earmark these funds (including all of the 3.8b you speak of) for military assistance in the form of purchasing US made military hardware. This is essentially store credit to the US military store, with certain allies allowed access to certain toys. Israel gets a lot, but do you consider south korea or japan?? Our DMZ in korea is 5 billion a year alone, and calls for actual personnel not just $$$.
2) What troops secured israel border? Why lie? The only american personnel presence is the Dimona Radar Facility, in a non combat role. American aid shifted to hardware and not personnel especially after beirut bombing of 1982.
3) Have you even read FARA? It requires registration for entities funded by foreign governments. AIPAC is not funded by the state of Israel. Also how you are unable to read precedent? This was discussed to the death in the 70s, by senator fulbright and was proven to be in compliance with the law. Where is your zeal when discussing CAIR? They actually do take money from Emirate nations as well as Saudis. By definition they should register no?
