Like I'm sure if the global economy remained strong we'd see another bubble into the trillions but basically every indicator is suggesting recession is imminent.

Should we be exiting these markets rather than buying? I'm scared biz bros

I think initially maybe it will cause a dump. Though, wouldn't the crash in usd equate to an increase in usd worth of an asset like bitcoin? I am very excited to see what a global market crash does to our bags.

People think crypto is going to dump during a recession but I think the opposite might be true. Yes, your average joe might dump his coins because he needs the cash to make mortgage payments, but that is not the case for the global rich, financial institutions, and those with the means to make money off of those two groups. To these people the prospect of using an asset that can resist seizure, can resist the collapse of regional economies, can be used to avoid taxes, can be used to escape restrictions on international transfer of money, etc... Crypto is incredibly useful for the wealthy, and it has yet to be leveraged by them in any meaningful way.

Lol

If fiat collapses it will be the best thing for crypto as people flee for a safe haven

Nah, we would move to appreciating assets LIKE bitcoin, gold, and silver. Some thread was talking about how in Argentina btc is 16k. Regardless, gold and silver are safer IMO. This is not financial advice. Please don't pray to murder me when you or I make the wrong prediction. The whole cabal can just collapse. There are no safe bets.

you guys think its possible that in the next 1-2 years we see another dotcom-esque bubble in crypto into several trillions, everyone from institutions to boomer grampas is involved, and then when the bubble pops that triggers the next financial crisis/crash?
