Not to sound like a complete retard.. but, one of the gripes some people in the US had with China and Japan over trade relation, was that they evaluated their currency to low. skewing the market, so trade would basically be a one way street, China and Japan selling all these goods cheap in the US which made it difficult for American companies to compete with - because of the difference in currency.

If Argentinas pesos devalue by 30%, meaning wages in terms of $, would drop by 30%, exporting goods to the US would also become 30% less expensive for Americans. Like this could cause a decent production boost, after all Argentina is rich in farmland and natural ressources, why have cattle in the US, when they can just import meat from Argentina, same applies for wine etc.
