Okay biz im gonna try something new. Can we discuss how big of a deal Overledger actually is? It gives interoperability for banks, exchanges, health sector, governmental sectors. Literally everything. Do we not discuss Quant because Chainlinkers on this board gets angry that another crypto project exceeds them, and has an actual fully working product with clients as SiaGroup and now AX trading(also partner of Euronext) and the partnerships and clients just keep on coming? The ceo speaking at the European central bank HQ in Frankfurt and Money2020? The tech must be quite something.
>but muh closed source.
Actual legitimate companies in the real world dont disclose every line of code for cybersecurity reasons
>cybersecurity
Yeah, they arent exposing the code for potential backdoors.
Quant also has full control and already patented this DLT technology. Why are people on biz so mad about this? It's completely true too if you just do some quick Google searches. The ceo was also on the US Feds New payment system committee and there are rumours about Overledger being used as a RTGS gateways. Isn't this huge, I dont get it really. And that this still sits at $8 shows how much of a clown market this is

Besides the obvious red flags that this project already has (yes, project) which are named last few weeks...whoever trusts a guy that is so blatantly pumping up his own project (still no word from Colin) is someone who can't be trusted. I see no other guy in crypto doing this besides Justin Sun. Talking about how he is going to bring mass-implementation of BC interoperability to Institutional and Enterprise Clients. Do you really trust someone who keeps saying that? Come on guys. Enough proof has been placed in this 4chan chat the last few weeks so I'm not going to bother. But these statements from a CEO should be a HUGE red flag, be realistic.

>>15202687
You have no proof, and those statements would be huge red flags if they didn't come from Gilbert.
Look at the kind of people he's on panels with (IBM, Central banks), he has Guy Dietrich from Rockefeller Capital as director of US operations etc.

If he says he will make it happen, it's going to happen. With or without your retarded fudding ass.

> Talking about how he is going to bring mass-implementation of BC interoperability to Institutional and Enterprise Clients. Do you really trust someone who keeps saying that?

Why wouldn't you? Are crypto autists really that paranoid to be suspicious of an ambitious CEO?

As the above guy said, his statements, based on what we've seen to date, seem realistic. Quant has partnered with an enterprise that handles billions of financial transactions between hundreds of banks, as well as a SEC-registered broker-dealer with hundreds of institutional investors. He also frequently rubs shoulders with people from big tech, banks and government, and Dietrich is on board from Rockefeller Capital. And, while there's no hard proof to date, Gil frequently talks about the dozens of large-scale enterprise clients currently building on Overledger as we speak.

Maybe he's talking about bringing mass-implementation of blockchain to enterprise because he's supremely confident he's going to do it.

Still trying to spread FUD about the CTO resigning, the absolute state of this autism infested board. Colin resigned from being the CTO you moron. Doesn't mean he left the company, online you see it happened in June, but Colin was seen in the company events in July. Also if you ever decide to do your own research instead of spewing constant garbage from your low IQ mouth, you'll see that this is corporate restructuring, likely making way for board of directors etc... "Why haven't they announced anything about Colin" Cause there is nothing to announce you retard.

>> No.15204219

>>15203816

Yes they do. Seriously the crypto autist community has become so far detached from reality that they really don't understand the real world anymore.

Enterprises care about what the system does, how well it works and the benefits it brings. That's it. It's absolute nonsense to think that CEOs and MDs will be swayed away from a system that could save their business millions because the CEO is making some ambitious comments about what they want to achieve in the long run.

Use your brain for a second and think about it.

Actually there's no evidence he resigned as CTO either.

"Chief technology officer", much like "Chief executive officer" and others, are not official company terms in law, at least not in the UK. You can formally be a company director, but then give yourself whichever job title you like. CEO, CTO, COO, secretary, cleaner, whatever.

This also means that you can be CTO, CEO, COO or any other "chief" without being a formal director of the limited company. They're entirely separate things.

Most of the time, unless formal company voting procedures are being used, it's better to just not be a director. It's pointless. He can still be a CTO though and work with the MD and others in the exact same way he did before.

> In 2018, SIA managed 14 billion institutional services transactions, 7.2 billion card transactions, 3 billion payments, 51.7 billion financial transactions and carried 1,204 terabytes of data on the network.

The autistic Biz incel with zero life achievements claims it won't be taken seriously, while the company that's handled 50 billion financial transactions, and helped launch Applepay, Samsungpay, Alipay and Wechat in Europe, has taken Quant seriously.

Dear god please shut the fuck up with the talk about central banks using Quant. The BIS doesn't like DLT, and central banks have tried using it but don't see enough benefits to replace the current system.
