Sergey is excited. You're talking about a guy who has had his nose to the grindstone for years, never enthusiastic, never openly excited.
You go from Sergey's words himself and the thing that he is completely fixated upon is the automation of financial instruments. Chainlink has a billion use cases, but from his speeches you can tell that derivatives specifically are the things he's really hungry for.
And he's gone on the record, as a guy who makes very few time based predictions, that derivatives will go online this year.
What you basically have is the perfect storm of factors, the only real question being which will ignite the speculative fire. Will it be SWIFT confirming that gpi Link is a Chainlink product? Will it be the actual reconciliation of a derivatives instrument that uses the Chainlink network? Will it be the ETH2.0 integration?
The tool they have built is so powerful, and so ubiquitously needed, that all of these factors are teetering, ready to fall, and as soon as any of them happens, Chainlink will moon. You can feel the increasing pressure, the endless good news. It is literally only a matter of time, and given Sergey's excitement, the timing of SIBOS and Web3, and the confirmed derivatives and insurance settlements happening this year, I am saying that it is soon.

Link can use any data source in the fucking world now and all someone has to do is build an adapter. Other people build dapps and other shit to interact with them.
