Do you think its possible to make money streaming games on youtube? It sounds dumb and easy as fuck and too good to be true but damn i see videos on youtube of people just talking about shit and they only get like 20k views on the video and during the live stream they get people throwing cash at them mother fuckers making like 40-100 bucks in an hour doing that shit

I have a really really niche video game i play i would love to stream some day if i get good at it

possible yes
likely no

you say you would love to stream so try it?

a lot of people want to do what you want to do but they'll do it for less than you and you're probably not any better

ergo:

Stream on mixer instead, smaller platform and easier to establish yourself long term

It's like everything else in life. I see it as starting a business. If you are not good compared to the average, it's a waste of time but if you enjoy doing it, being extroverted and all, and at the same time cover a niche, it can be profitable.

It all depends on your entertainment and sometimes networking capabilities, even something like 400-500 concurrent can make you live full time as a poorfag. I believe twitch is better as well

many try but less than 1% succeed at it
its really more of a hobby until you ever make a profit
but why not give it a try?

Do you think if I just grind out videos and streams and do it for fun anyways something will happen

I see some peiple doing it on youtube with a lot of views but no one doing it live

That's because for sim racing youtube videos is probably better since it's a niche and youtube is bigger. Since not many people play compared to standard games, you probably need an interesting persona that stands on its own if you stream it.

It all depends on what you have to offer. Be honest with yourself and use all the strengths you have

I’m not saying make it but like if I could make 50 or 100 dollars off a stream or something I would be so fucking happy and I love it anyways and want to record myself for fun

I somehow need to stream my hands playing plus the screen at the same time on an Xbox? Any idea? I might start now even though I suck

look around online and youll see thousands of people stream themselves playing various video games and most of them have 0 - 10 viewers and no one donating any money
your looking at the rare successful ones when you see people with viewers and receiving donations
like i said, if you enjoy it then do it but dont think of profit because its a hobby
one day your hobby could potentially bring you profit but its not likely

Damn I see youtubers with like 20k virws getting paid on streams
