They printed so much Tether now that it’s starting to show its limitations. With dark USDT, they can essentially buy btc for free, propping up the price. However, every time they buy btc, the USDT used leaves their control and into the hands of the public, so the next batch has to have even more USDT and this cycle goes into a positive feedback.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens when this system reaches its absolute limit.
