Hey /biz/ I don't frequent this board very often, I mostly stay on /k/ but I've been hearing some people who are much more business and finance savvy than myself talk about a coming recession. So, I was wondering if guys could give me some ideas of how to best weather the coming recession?

Buy BTC, XMR, gold and silver. Keep the BTC & XMR in a GUI or hardware wallet, and only buy gold and silver you actually have shipped to you. Keep at least 25% of your money in fiat.
Buy a bunch of very sturdy guns and ammo (there were a few threads on biz the other day about which guns are good investments, basic gist of it boiled down to .22 and 5.56, keep a few sturdy rifles and a fuck ton of well stored ammo for them in Spam cans).
Have enough food, water, and gas for at least a month (probably won't get this bad but hey can't hurt to be prepared).
When prices on housing collapse, use that 25% to buy a house somewhere with low property taxes. There is no way to know where the bottom of housing prices are, just keep an eye on a few properties and wait until you see them dip precipitously, then wait some more. Do not FOMO (fear or missing out) into any deal, there will always be another good deal. Better to miss a property than buy only 50% of the way to the bottom.
Do not take out a loan or mortgage, only buy what you can afford to own outright.
Read pic related. It will tell you absolutely nothing about what to do during a recession, but it will give you the basic knowledge required to read anything else written on finance or economics and you can read the whole thing in one day. Then go read Milton Friedman and Thomas Sowell.
Make friends with other people who are worried about a recession. Do some favors for them like helping them with house maintenance or moving or whatever, build those relationships. Tell them about investing into alternative assets, DO NOT TELL THEM YOU ARE DOING SO YOURSELF.

Follow those steps and you'll be fine.

Thanks for the advice, I'll order that book today. I've been on the fence about investing in precious metals for a while now as I've been collecting milsurp for a long time and it seems like pretty fucking stable investment so far but I think I'm going to order some silver soon.
Also, I'm going to stack 9mm, 7.62x39, and 5.56 deep too.

Don't use vpns they are a scam.
update your facebook daily with where you are and what you have been doing so your family feels in the know.
Leave gps on in phone settings for the convenience.
If you have a beard, shave it to make it easier for face rec. AI to see you (this also helps with convenience soon)

As far as recession goes: this wont be merely a recession, its something much bigger, get crypto and some hard assets (keep stacking guns too)
