>4th industrial revolution
>/biz/ thinks middleware will be the moneymaker
LMAO. Why aren't you retards actually buying what will actually set off the revolution? Smart contracts platforms like Ethereum. Those are the real money makers. Not this fucking bandaid solution middleman.

lmaoooo that is not how it works. Smart contract platforms wont be the ones making much profit. Profit margins are small af at higher levels of organization. The only reason amazon or azure profits off web hosting is because they offer it at a high scale. Each tier lower is more efficient in making money than the previous. Hence, Data Providers will be more profitable than chainlink nodes which will be more profitable than the "smart contract platforms"

We need a new analogy to explain what exactly it is that chain link does. I was liking the armoured cars but its more than that because of the connectivity and protection. Like tinder with free condoms for legal agreements or electric roads that also come with free electric armoured cars for transporting data.

Smart contracts platforms that don't need middleware to connect to external data

>> No.15128653

biggest money maker will me the smart contract creation, something it doesn’t even exist right now. We need to set things going and data feeding to ancillary frameworks is as big as it gets

have said this a few times, but write out the logic of a complex smart contract
observe how many times it needs an external input or output and how many times it needs to compute (read/write) on chain
you'll work out quickly the volume is in oracle calls

ETH (and the rest) will become Chainlinks bitch
