Have a security guard job checking bags. Hate it a lot. A LOT. I can't do it anymore. Have a useless 2 yr degree too.

What should I switch to? I also want to switch to part time (like 20ish hours a week) since I'm going to be focusing on different stuff + finishing school in a year (just some biz admin econ degree. I now plan on just becoming a teacher btw).

I also will start doing this tefl thing so I can work from home teaching english to chinese kids, but that course is 150 hours so it will take time to complete. If I did 30 hours a week, that's a month and a week at a minimum. If I were unemployed and quit this job now, I'd probably be able to do it in like 2-3 weeks. Too risky though, plus I need some sort of income stream anyways (even if only a little) to pay some expenses.

Should I just bite the bullet of this super shitty job and then move to the tefl thing when I finish it? On one hand, I don't do much. On the other, I get a shit ton of passive aggressiveness from people and it drains my energy.

Why do you hate it so much? Gib security job stories.

I basically just stand near the exit and check inside people's bags. They give me attitude like 25ish% of the time. That's basically it. Easy job, but I don't feel comfortable with it.

I would prefer just patrolling since I would be left alone. No customers yelling at me. Just me walking around. Security guard jobs are kind of weird. I'm not really providing a direct value. In patrol jobs, you're basically paid to just be there.
