you mean something like differential privacy? where original data is supposedly unrecoverable, but specific interesting properties are preserved - so you can get accurate statistics on say what people like to eat, without being able to tell who eats what exactly (at least that's my 89IQ understanding of it)

I hope this is not a shill thread for one of couple blockchain projects that want to build something like that
