BTC is still good because it's what these institution and funds are interested in
it's at its highest hashing power, yet development is still slow
I run a lightning network node and test all the latest software, it's getting better but still isn't user friendly

ETH is basically fucked
they're talking about using bcash's chain because their chain is maxed out
they're talking about giving the devs an additional 140k ETH in Ethereum Improvement Proposal - 2025
PoS is delayed again and it's just really a mess
