That's not quite true though. They work harder than any other crypto project to get this implemented in real world banking tools and regulation.
I mean they are kind of the standard of banking crypto already, why else would concept slides of for example the bank of america or swift always mention ripple when giving examples for crypto implementation into their settlement process?
I don't want to imply that they are using xrp here, but there are many slides that read like "and here could be the interface to crypto/distributed ledger (ie. ripple)".
