Took the plunge and quit my job. Last day was today.
got $ 10k cash 20k crypto
moving to SEA in a few weeks
All that's well and good, but how can I start producing passive cash? I need to start producing some income within a year.
my skills:
codecucking (web and python only)
clothing manufacturing
/fit/

i will not be purchasing kneepads nor sucking penis, frens. i'll be living out of cheap apartments in asia to maximize my runway ( i expect to last 1.5 years before i start touching the crypto)

sirs...

>quit job off an emotional impulse
>moving to asian country with only 10k
>has skills most asians dominate in
>thinks his crypto counts as money there
Sheesh. Glad I’m not you OP

think about it like this
lets say i waged for 2 more years, and somehow didnt kms
now i would have 50--70k cash, and be more marketable for a 100k+ position
but really, id be no better off than i am now, because id be no closer to producing passive income at any level close enough to sustain myself

only ballsy entrepreneets may post in this thread. back to your cage, fren

make a /fit/ blog and make money from marketing supplements. Is SEA really that cheap? Can you write out your expenses per month?
I'm considering doing the same, just quit my job but was planning on staying here this winter.

keep coping faggots. You won’t make it, you’re now more worthless than a wagie. How does that feel?

it is insanely cheap brother
youtube slags generally live off of $600 per month eating out every meal, plus coffees, while sightseeing
im going to just be coding my app business schemes and enjoying sunsets without slavery; i expect to keep monthly expenses 300-400 per month. flights are about 80 between countries in sea and you can generally plant yourself for 60 days
yes i plan to blog/vlog about the costs but dont expect to make any decent money from that

What you'll wind up doing is getting pissed every night, blowing all your money on hookers then coming to grips with your defeat and trudging back to wageslavery in America/Europe/wherever.

Making it as an expat is rough. Youre about to find that out the hard way.

thanks for your concern. I am not at risk of spending on hookers, also not a drinker. if i really fail completely ill come back and try to join a startup, just never going back to the "comfy" office grind

That sounds like not too bad of an idea since pajeets are so cheap to hire. I think for small one man teams you're best off trying to find a small niche that isn't satisfied yet in a market. One I saw recently was someone made an external add-on for wireless audio playback for the m50x headphones. That pair of headphones was very popular on reddit and had a detachable cable. It looked like he was probably making pretty good margins even though he had bad ratings on amazon since he had no competition. How do you find one? It takes patience, but if you're mindful throughout your day it can be done. Any time you have a problem think of a way you can solve it, and once in a while you might come up with something profitable.

I would maybe avoid phone apps and websites if they aren't backed by some kind of solid business model. I have an app with half a million downloads and 2000 DAUs and I only make 200$/Month. It is a utility app so generally they make the least money since they get so little traffic, but still that's pretty sucky for 2000 DAUs.

thanks for the insight on mobile. yes ive wasted several hundred hours on apps with no revenue built in to the functionality, so i learned the lesson there. only make an app if paying is integral to the functionality, or if it good enough for a turbo tax esque solution. amazon made a really cool api for filling out and reading PDFs by the way called textract
