>boomers retiring
they don't contribute that much at work, it will be a stress relief for many businesses when they don't have to pay their salary anymore. With the extra money they can hire zoomers and millenials for new positions, for 30% of the price, with 10x the productivity.

>pensions
What businesses are going to do is pretty obvious. They'll fund the pensions at a variable rate (30%), and then if they are sued they'll just use their lawyers to draw it out, and settle out of court by paying them an extra 10%, claiming their businesses will fail if they pay out (to be fair many pensions are criminally high)
for example:
>The list of recipients is dominated by former cops and firefighters whose million-dollar payouts from a separate retirement program drove their incomes well over the $220,000 annual limit the IRS allows pension funds to pay.
Yes, there are pensions paying $300k/yr to people who already got paid for their work.

Government pensions are a little more to be worried about because they're incompetent. Likely they'll just be years late on payments and boomers will die before they get their payouts.

boomers panic sell, shitposting chain letters on facebook to other boomers about a crash, creating a self fulfilling crash and they crater the economy for another decade.
