>Step 1: Read the 'Roth Memory Course' pastebin/SvMBUkW6
>Step 2: Read any book on Speed Reading
>Step 3: Read any resources on Lucid Dreaming, for starters, just keep a dream journal and do reality checks throughout the day.

Now, you have a way to consume much more information, apply it all to memory, and then can teach yourself new concepts with that information for an additional 6-8 hours every night while you sleep.

Wanna learn how to play guitar? Speedread a chord progression book, apply it to memory, practice while you sleep.

Apply this to anything you want, anons. You're welcome

I actually am not done. I just came to this realization myself. Perhaps someone from here could give me a challenge to do and I can report back? I've always been a natural lucid dreamer, and have sort of messed with practicing practical things in them. And another anon here recommended the Roth Memory book, and after reading the first chapter I was hooked. I just found this speedreading book today - and during my first look at it, this idea came to me.
but seems interesting

I don't spam anything. But you're right, I am too self-centered and haven't put these skills into any meaningful use yet. One day, anon. Don't take my failures as a general view of this idea - could have some merit.

any recommendations?

Kind of bumping this with a slight change of topic, thanks to the good idea from an anon above me - please post any challenges you have for me to do (with certain conditions) and I will attempt to use this method and will report back.
>bad example: "Learn to program."
>good example: "Program a basic script to decide good buy-in prices in Python within two-weeks"
I guess there's no way for me to prove I won't cheat, and I'll go with whatever people want me to try the most. Or dubs. Whoever picks the winning topic will receive $10 in pretty much whatever erc token they want, in exchange for forcing me to try something new.

you'll love this if you don't know it already
I'm currently reading one that my kindle app recommended me after I made an account. But its not letting me log in now, so if I can figure that out I'll let you know. Most of the results I see are older, doesn't seem to be a lot of new stuff coming out that's related. But a lot of articles, videos, and the like to come through. The website I linked has a bunch you can check out. Good luck anon. I think you should perhaps start with the memory course first - at least the first chapter. Read it, and listen to the rules, and you'll be a believer by the end.

Learn a new language in 2 months

It can be whatever language you like but extra points if it's tricky ones like Mandarin or Russian. You must attain atleast a basic level of fluency. There is a shitton of apps, youtube content and courses for you to learn from. As an added bonus, learning a new language helps develop your memory and cognitive skills. Good luck OP

Okay this is kind of cool. There are some caveats. I took 4 years of spanish, so while I'm not fluent at all and didn't retain much, it definitely wouldn't be fair I feel. So that takes out Portuguese probably as well. Do you have a specific one in mind or is it up to me really? Also, define fluent? Reading and writing? Being able to hold a conversation? Survive in that country? Does a computer language or Musical theory count?

Not that I'm trying to make excuses whatsoever, but I am moving in two weeks, starting bachelor comp sci, gonna be working full time, have to train, and try to trade. But that's what spawned this idea in the first place. Take in more information for your time spent, actually retain it, and mess with that for an additional 6+ hours a night. But if no one else comments you got it anon

In that case, spanish and portugese can't count. I'm actually challenging myself to learn Spanish atm, that's why I suggested this to you. I don't have anything specific in mind, You can choose whatever language that might interest you. I hear Mandarin is hard af though.

As for proficiency, how about somewhere between B2 and C1 in pic related for the language of your choice? That would mean able to hold basic conversations and having decent writing skills as well. Since you are going to be busy soon, you can take a month extra incase this retaining technique doesn't pan out exactly as you'd hoped.
