HOW THE FUCK DO ALL THESE FUCKING LOSERS I WENT TO HIGH SCHOOL WITH MAKE SIX FIGURES AND DRIVE MASERATIS AND HIGH END CARS AND LIVE IN HIGH END HOUSES NOW

I FUCKING HAD A 4.0 GPA AND THEY ALWAYS HAD SUB 2.0 GRADES AND WERE ADDICTED TO CIGARETTES AND DRUGS AND ALCOHOL AT THE AGE OF 17 YET THEY ARE SOME HOW MAKING A FUCKING KILLING SIMPLY BY WINGING IT THEIR ENTIRE LIVES

I’m unironically going to kill myself. I make a measly $80k a year (in California) and I am seeing absolute fuck ups making at least $200k a year.

They're probably sociopaths who showed they had remorse or feelings and were able to use that to their advantage to achieve good management positions. That or you went to school for a degree in gay nigger studies.

Probably you are richer than you think or at least the class of people in your school was. Cause from my school 90% became manual workers. Thats what actual losers end up doing.

something like this. usually those people were very social or popular in school since they were degenerates. it helps in life when you know how to talk to people. moron hiring people would rather hire someone that's brotier with them during the interview than someone whose more fit with the job and awkward. i learned this very quickly and started to put on a fake persona during interviews and act like i'm their best friend and it works. thing is after you get hired they don't leave you alone lol.

Having connections is really important. All those idiots making friends in school are the ones that actually succeed.
>Oh you're applying for this position? Well I've already given it to my friend Dave here
You're literally not going to make it if you were the quite kid in school unless you are a 200 IQ turboautist with expert skills and knowledge

It helps that they actually have 2 income streams because of a partner. Society is literally set up with the idea of mind that a household has 2 incomes because most people don't have an inability to connect with the opposite gender

I’m the type of guy you are describing here. I had terrible grades, and got kicked out of my high school for selling drugs- got sent to another school and got good grades though, and went to a good university (terrible gpa here though). I have one year left and will be starting at 6 figures unless something goes terribly wrong.

My unconventional explanation for the ~luck- me and other similar fuckups seem to have:

>Some of us are smart, but are too much distracted by having fun at that age to give a shit about academics
>People like us because we’re cool, this gives us power over others. If we use it wisely, people will do us favors so that they can also become ‘cool’. This starts out as helping us (lettting us copy) with homework, in college its the same, now I let this nerdy guy into my parties and introduce him to hot girls, he gets me into the investment club... or an internship, or a job. Because I was nice to him, and im not normally nice to guys like hime
>We arent boring, so we have an edge over socially awkward/stunted introverted types- if im not literally a drooling monkey brotard I have an edge over the quiet aspie with a better resume

I know most of you can’t relate, and you probably will think im larping, but that is my two cents on it.

No you're right. I did a course a few years back and made friends with someone there. I told him I liked computers and he offered to recommend me to a large company his family member worked at. Friendship is one of your largest assets

There you go. And my former NEET friend who is a MUCH worse fuckup than me in almost every regard will have a cozy internship next summer working at a company in his area of interest. The head of human resources has a son that Ive been very kind to despite his social shortcomings.

And the aforementioned fuck-up, will help me, or my cousin or brother, or son or sons friend in the future without asking too many questions.

Hopefully you are starting to understand a little better OP.

I agree with this anon. Do people not realize that 80K a year or even 40K a year in a southern state is well off/middle class while in cali or NY this is borderline poverty. To live in NYC or CALI rent is 2500 minimum, Just to pay rent you will need to make $30,000 a year. Whilst to pay rent in let's say texas or colorado is as cheap as $700-$1300 for your standard liveable apartment.

They were just smarter than you. They knew your grades in high school don't mean shit and it's all about your rank and SAT scores so they probably minmaxed their numbers and spent the rest of the time doing fun things. Then they put in the effort where it counted in college and their career. In short, you're a brainlet.

>> No.14957983

That means in Texas or colorado, 40K is middle class, 80K is upper middle class 100K+ is wealthy. 20K is lower class.

I fucked up in high school. Drank all the time, had a 2.7 gpa, and then flunked out after a year of college. Been through some rough times but I feel like this made me grow up quicker than my peers.

When I started working, I saved and invested every dime I had while all my peers were out partying like I was in high school.
