Fact: Altcoins are dead ever since margin trading became popular

Fact: There's no point of buying or holding alts anymore since you can margin trade BTC to increase your BTC stack, which was the whole point of alts

Fact: BTC dominance will see 75% this year

Fact: If you hold anything other than BTC, you will not make it.

Altcoins did not die, they simply became tokens. Altcoins of the past were bitcoin/litecoin forks.

I got a couple alt bags, but everyone is beginning to catch on to margin trading BTC. You can also leverage trade a few other coins depending on the exchange, with up to 100x leverage. More coins will eventually be margin traded I believe. Less than 20% of traders will be doing the route, with around 70% losing all their money from lack of knowledge/skill/greed. 76% of margin traders lost all their money on etoro

This is just for the large investors though..
Nearly all of us regular normies will lose margin trading as we can't beat the market often enough to be profitable. Alts will make a return if cases of adoption can be proven although it's years away.

It will dip down to 2.5k

What you're completely forgetting is volatility.

When Bitcoin goes up alts tank.

Bitcoin volatility and volume dries up for w hile....then what? Everyone just sits on their hands and promises not to pump rock bottom alts with a paper thin sell book?

christ dude, 2017 coins were popping of 2-3x in a day. 5x in a week. just cause we won't see that again doesn't mean alts are worth trading. pulling 2-3x gains on an alt in a month is still a good trade.

Me too, it will be funny

>>14957218
A good portion, yes. There are very rich people margin trading. Imagine having enough money to really move the market. Now imagine knowing it's about at the resistance level on the bottom of a coin. Margin trade 50x with 1mi. It's like a 50mil dollar buy was just made. It would drive the price up and people would buy on top. 10% increase makes you 10 million and you started with 1 mil. There are people doing big time trades using margin trading. But most are people using under 2k and losing it all.

>> No.14957861 [DELETED]

>>14957585

You're funny. People would notice.
I can't just throw 20 million at something, and sell two days after. I mean, sure, could be done, but people would see the movements and do research on where this came from.

>> No.14958849

>>14957861
I use to think the same, and yes, it is kind of funny because it actually is that easy for them. It is done, and has been done. People do research yes, many dont. Even doing research, it would be hard to tell. You cant get 20 million shares at market value, the price goes up. But you would continue buying market value as the price goes up. Artificially pumping it, this happens everyday. When you can tell you are at the bottom of the shorters, you can really kill the holders. The people holding and buying essentially keep the price up enough for you to make money with that many shares or coins being sold. With leverage it's even more profitable if you can time trades and watch the volume

Its risky, but profitable. But when btc starts steadily going up again. If you have enough money, you can beat the spread and make it out a champ. You are more likely too lose. But if you are better than 76% of traders, you will make it.
